International Cooperation

The Internationalization process of the Postgraduate Program in Food Science (PGAli) has been strengthened mainly through Bilateral Agreements (International Cooperation) to carry out research projects, scientific publications and mobility (Exchange) of students and professors. Such actions are considered of extreme relevance for the establishment, maintenance and strengthening of partnerships and agreements with Universities, Institutes and International regulatory agencies.

This initiative translates into the raising of foreign financial resources, a quantitative and qualitative increase in scientific publications and the training of human resources (Master/Doctorate) at a very high level to act in the area of Food Science.

Exchanges have been established through partnerships and covenants coming from individual teachers' projects and through Academic Cooperations established between UFBA and other Institutions.
The expansion of International Cooperation carried out by the program's professors, with foreign researchers, had a positive impact on PGAli. This is mainly reflected in the number of agreements signed in the last Quadrennium.
